Ranch Events

Ranch Events, Lakewood Ranch is one of the most prestigious communities in the Sarasota area. It is not just a housing development; it is a city within a city. Lakewood Ranch consists of seven villages covering 48 square miles and offers multiple model home choices. The town center of Lakewood Ranch boasts grocery stores, shops, boutiques, and restaurants.

There are community events just about every week. Music on Main is a favorite event held on the first Friday of every month. Free concerts, great food, and good friends make this a great way to start the weekend.

The community offers an Ambassador program. For many people, time is a commodity. This program gives consumers a concise tour tailored to their needs and interests. The Ambassador program can answer questions and concerns whether you are a homebuyer, realtor, or business wanting to learn about the community and its amenities. Lakewood Ranch has three information center locations. University Parkway, Lakewood Ranch Blvd., and Lake Club Blvd., all conveniently located a short distance from Ranch Events.

Each of Lakewood Ranch’s seven villages offers townhouses, single-family homes, and custom estates. All have unique characteristics catering to a wide range of buyers. Let’s look at what Lakewood Ranch has to offer in addition to first-class, eco-friendly homes.

Ranch Events

Villages

Central Park is the center of the development with eight single-family design choices ranging from 1000sf to over 3000 sf. All homes in Central Park are eco-friendly and certified green.

The Country Club is a community for the athlete in everyone. A fabulous collection of home choices surrounds Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club’s three golf courses. The private golf and country club facilities include a practice range, fitness center, tennis courts, heated pools, and a spa complete with a steam room, sauna, and Ranch Events whirlpool. A final stop after an enjoyable round of golf.

Country Club East is a spin-off of its parent community, The Country Club. This gated community surrounds a magnificently appointed Rick Robbins golf course. All homeowners have the opportunity to join the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club and enjoy the numerous amenities included with membership.

The Lake Club emits a Tuscan vineyard feel. Custom estates adorn this private club community. Each home is custom-built and unique. Lake views, rustic bridges, and the Grande Clubhouse heighten the old-world ambiance of The Lake Club.

Greenbrook surrounds a multitude of lakes and wildlife preserves. Homes range in price from $200k to $300k based on their location with homes on the banks at the lower end of the price scale. Buyers can choose from 38 different floor plans and elevations. Generously appointed with 1500sf to 4000sf, each home conforms to the Florida Green Building Coalition standards.

Parks

Parks are scattered throughout Lakewood Ranch and offer activities for everyone.

Lakewood Ranch District Park is the largest park sitting on 150 acres and located adjacent to the high school. Tennis, basketball, and soccer fields are a few sports venues offered in this park.

Adventure Park is located on the south end of the Greenbrook neighborhood and has an inline skating area, baseball diamond, and a park specially designed for your four-legged friends. Pavilions are available for a casual picnic or a special event.

Greenbrook also offers a second park, on the east side of the community, Ranch Events, with lush grass and landscaping to play or just enjoy the Florida weather.

Summerfield Community Park is nestled in the center of the Summerfield community with fifteen acres of various sports arenas. These include tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball courts, a large playground, and pavilions with barbeque grills. The perfect spot for a day of activity and a charcoal-broiled hot dog.

Braden River Nature Park is snuggled between the Summerfield and the Country Club neighborhoods. With Trophy Lake on one side and Otter Lake on the other, this is an angler’s paradise. Moreover, if you get tired of fishing you can always take off on foot and enjoy the scenic walking trails. Along the walking trails, you will come upon passive parks. Here you have the opportunity for a short rest while enjoying the beauty of nature that surrounds you. Edgewater Village furnishes a boat ramp, passive parks, and an observation area for its residents.

Recreation:

Polo

Unbelievably, there are actually nine polo fields at the Sarasota Polo Club in Lakewood Ranch. Dubbed “the fastest game on four feet” excitement is the name of this game. A full-size arena with covered spectator seating and a member’s clubhouse is perfect for weekend entertainment. During the polo season, there are over 600 polo ponies stabled in one of the 35 horse ranches in the Lakewood Ranch vicinity. Lessons are available for the beginner to seasoned riders and new players are welcome at the Sarasota Polo Club.

Sunday afternoons, from December to April, you can enjoy league and tournament games. In addition to the action of the game, you can take a pony or a Clydesdale wagon ride. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are also welcome family members.

Golf

Saving the best till last, golf is one of the most desirable amenities for homebuyers in Florida. Lakewood Ranch presents residents with three exclusive golf clubs to choose from.

Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club is an exclusive member-only country club with three distinctively different courses to choose. The spectacular clubhouse offers a formal dining room, grille, and lounge. The 44,000 so facility is more than capable of catering formal business functions, large holiday parties, and weddings.

Legacy Golf Club is open to the public with no membership required. Daily fee, advance tee times, and discounted greens fees allow all golfers to experience this championship golf course at a reasonable price.

Anything associated with the Ritz Carlton name is sure to be first class. The Ritz Carlton’s Members Club winds through beautiful wetlands, colorful landscapes, and mixed with mature Oak trees. Golfers who enjoy the walkthrough nature while playing will love the Ritz Carlton course layout.

With so much to see and do, the Ambassador would be the way to go for your first visit to Lakewood Ranch. They will make sure you are not overwhelmed with too much information to make a rational decision and help you through your journey from beginning to end. You’ll undoubtedly find your perfect house.
